This Privacy Policy describes how Atrium Events (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Atrium platform (“Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an Atrium account as an event organizer, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Organization name (if provided)
- Stripe account connection details (we do not store your Stripe credentials)
Event Data
When you create events, we store:
- Event details (name, date, venue, description)
- Ticket type configurations and pricing
- Volunteer PIN codes
- Guest lists and attendee information
Transaction Data
When tickets are sold through the platform:
- Buyer name and email address
- Ticket purchase details (event, ticket type, quantity)
- Order totals and fee breakdowns
- QR code ticket identifiers
We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. All payment processing is handled directly by Stripe.
Check-in Data
When attendees are scanned at events:
- QR code scan timestamps
- Check-in status per ticket
- Device and connectivity information (for offline sync)
Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Service, we may collect:
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and actions taken within the Service
- IP address
- Device information
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Service
- Process ticket sales and deliver tickets via email
- Enable QR code scanning and entry management
- Generate sales and attendance reports for organizers
- Send transactional emails (ticket confirmations, event updates)
- Communicate with you about your account or the Service
- Improve and develop the Service
- Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
3. Third-Party Services
We share information with the following third-party services:
Stripe
Stripe processes all payments on the platform. When a ticket buyer makes a purchase, their payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy. Atrium does not have access to full credit card numbers.
Resend
We use Resend to deliver transactional emails (ticket confirmations, account notifications). Recipient email addresses and email content are shared with Resend for delivery purposes.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Sharing
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Between organizers and buyers: When you purchase a ticket, the event organizer receives your name and email address for event management purposes
- With service providers: As described in Section 3, to operate the Service
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
5. Cookies and Tracking
Atrium uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain your login session
- Remember your preferences
- Understand how the Service is used
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects information such as:
- Pages visited and time spent on pages
- Referring website or source
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Approximate geographic location (country/city level)
- Screen resolution
This data helps us improve the website experience and understand which content is most useful to our visitors. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. The data collected is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained until you request account deletion
- Event data: Retained for the duration of your account plus a reasonable period for record-keeping
- Transaction data: Retained as required for financial record-keeping and tax purposes
- Check-in data: Retained with the associated event data
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export: Request your data in a portable format

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
